BS Graduate 2005 Biological Sciences
I was born on the beautiful Caribbean island St. Kitts into a family of six. In the fall of 2002 I moved to the Huntsville, Alabama where I pursued a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Alabama, Huntsville. Upon Graduating in 2005, I worked at Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Bronx, New York and later as a Laboratory Technician in Birmingham, Alabama. In the fall of 2010 I enrolled in the Master of Science in Nutritional Science program at Georgia State University. My goal is to become a Clinical Dietitian who focuses on the health needs of the underserved African American community. I enjoy playing basketball, tennis and reading African history. I also believe as the late, great, educator Amos Wilson says, “Education is survival,” and I make it my mission to teach anyone who is willing to learn.
