YES at the High Museum
Many of the students had not heard of The High Museum, a landmark of culture, architecture and art in Atlanta. We were fortunate to visit the museum right on schedule for the new spring exhibits. Students were excited by classic cars, including a 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham, amazed by the scale of a tapestry, captivated by the craftsmanship of 18th century American furniture, and intrigued by the many possible interpretations of contemporary art.
After the museum, YES enjoyed a delicious meal, at The Tavern at Phipps, compliments of CentraArchy and the general manager Alex Zengotita. The great food and service at this Atlanta eatery offered the perfect setting to discuss our day at the museum.
